Margaret V McCall graduated from Georgia State University in 1991 with a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1996 and is expected to receive a Post -Graduate Certificate in School Counseling in May 2017. Margaret has worked with older children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings for over twenty years, to include the community, hospital and residential, school, outdoor wilderness and substance abuse programs. She specializes in Mood and Anxiety Disorders; Grief/Loss Issues; ADHD/Behavioral/ Parenting Issues; Women’s Issues; Abuse; Certification in Cognitive Therapy for Schizophrenia.
Margaret utilizes an integrated style in therapy with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral and humanistic approaches. She believes in the person’s innate ability to make desired changes and strives towards a strong alliance in therapy to assist individuals in making that change a reality.
When not working, Margaret enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, the outdoors, volunteering in the community and spending time with family and friends.
